We didn’t give news for a while because we were developing a maximum of new features in order to present a great application for the Adobe Max Awards 2008.
…and it worked: we are officially semi-finalists for this worldwide competition!

We also won a competition organized by the French order of accounting experts named “Creacc“. Its aim is to reward a young start-up’s project idea and development.

More news: we have been invited to talk at PKDD 2008 (European Conference on Machine Learning and Principles and Practice of Knowledge Discovery in Databases) which took place in Antwerp, Belgium. We gave our point of view about next challenges for multidimensional management and analysis. Attendees were mostly researchers. We gave them additional insight about new industrial trends like cloud computing applied to databases management, etc…

You can have a look at our presentation here:

Credits: we stole a slide from Jeff Bezos talk at the startup school. It is the one with the power generator.

We will present our solution next week during the “ERP 2008” exhibition in Paris, from September 30th to October 2nd. Come to see us, there are goodies to get :)

Finally, we will submit our work to the “2008 Amazon Web Services Start-Up Challenge” to -maybe- be the next hot start-up, who knows…

That’s it for the moment. Paperboy bime is still growing up, with more great features…ask for a free trial!
