The following dashboard uses the transparency International’s Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) to display the state of corruption country by country. As stated by the guardian, the CPI is the world’s most credible measure of domestic and public sector corruption. The scale is backed by experts from different countries and by business leaders from 10 independent institutions.
It is also a good example of the difference between a heatmap based and a vector based country data visualization.
